David J. Lopez, MD
President & Chief Executive Officer
David J. Lopez, MD, is president and chief executive officer of Psychiatry Networks. Since 2006, Dr. Lopez has led the telepsychiatry provider in its efforts to deliver expert evaluations and leading-edge, ongoing treatment to patients suffering from a range of mental health disorders. In addition, Dr. Lopez and his caregiving team offer vital support and education to the families and friends of those seeking care.
Under his leadership, Psychiatry Networks has become a premier provider of mental health and on-call telepsychiatry services to clients in Ohio and throughout the Midwest.
Prior to establishing Psychiatry Networks, Dr. Lopez served as chief of clinical services with the North Dakota and Ohio Air National Guards. The first portion of his career was spent in private practice, providing a broad range of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to patients across the Midwest. He is licensed to practice medicine in the States of Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio and Washington. Dr. Lopez specializes in treating members of the military and those incarcerated in state and federal prisons.
Dr. Lopez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency training at the Hennepin County Medical Center and Regions Ramsey County Hospital in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Dr. Lopez is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Russian.
Paula Osowski
Physicians Assistant
Paula Osowski graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University with a B.S. in chemistry. She went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medial Center Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 1999 with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Ms. Osowski has over 25 years of experience in psychiatric medication management. She has worked with both adolescents and adults. Her treatment areas of interest include depression, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders.
Carleigh Herrington RN, MSN, Board-Pending PMHNP
Carleigh is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University, where she completed the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program in February 2025. She is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s mental health needs.
Since becoming a Registered Nurse in 2018, Carleigh has gained experience in acute psychiatry and crisis stabilization at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center and Sentara Norfolk General, where she treated individuals with acute psychosis, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. At St. Vincent, she additionally provided care for individuals undergoing substance use detoxification. She later focused on supporting individuals diagnosed with various eating disorders at The Emily Program. During her graduate studies, she assisted in facilitating DBT IOP group therapy, helping individuals develop skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Her background also includes experience as a postpartum nurse supporting women during the perinatal period.
With a diverse clinical background, a collaborative approach, and a passion for mental health, Carleigh is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience and achieve lasting emotional well-being.
